Female Yorkshire Terriers, like their male counterparts, are known for their playful, feisty, and affectionate natures. They are often described as confident and courageous, with a “tommy-boy toy” temperament, meaning they can be bold and stand up for themselves. Female Yorkies also tend to form strong bonds with their owners, seeking attention and interaction.  While some sources suggest female might be more independent or terriorial , this is not a definitive characteristic of all female yorkies. 

While generally social, they can be reserved or wary of strangers, showcasing discerning nature.
